It took a while to get use to. I did order an 11 which usually fits & these are a little big on me. I actually love the top half of the stand and how it holds the mic. The shoes are too uncomfortable to wear more than 30 minutes at a time so no telling when they will be comfortable enough to wear for an outing away from home. I didnt use it for a phone call, but unless there is a lot of background noise, it should be plenty loud enough for a conversation. OK for what I need it. First of all, mine didnt come in a box with the Ascher logo, no instruction guide, and the white lights are slightly different in design than the red lights. All in all these are good weights for the money and Im glad I choose to get them instead of the vinyl ones. My husband was able to assemble the wine rack within 10 minutes and we had that bad boy situated in our built in shelf which we desigated as our "bar" area.
