One side of the rack had that, but the other side had a male part on top and the female attachment on the bottom, so the extension didn’t fit our existing Thule rack. I bought this to use in my guest room so its not getting a lot of use. The burgundy/gold was perfect with my coloring and of course I Loved all the compliments. Great value too! Also, Im an adult who severely suffers from ADD… so I spend more time looking for things, then anyone could imagine. And i love that it can completely change old and boring into something quite stylish and different.
