Allows us to use standard headphones and other 1/8" cables. Bought these to replace my shredded earpads on HD600. they are now old and I found these. The plastic wall anchors were not adequate though; didnt have the needed holding power. I didnt like them so loose. I love them xxxxx There was never a perfect sound where the bass, voice, and background instrumental played loudly all at once (which is disappointing and expected from cheaper Dollarstore products. I was caught in a rainstorm and after only a couple of minutes with wet feet, the flip flop dyed my foot black. I see that as totally acceptable for the use/abuse I was putting them through and the price point. Despite the product name, these do not seem to be made to fit on the PowerBeats3 but rather are just generic earbud tips.
