I just bought this for my garage. They also sit on top of my ears and push my ears down a bit, because I cant adjust the head piece tight enough. I decided on the HD650 based on the many positive reviews both on Amazon and other websites. It is the cork that has deteriorated significantly, and although I have had the original soles replaced once, the replacements are now completely worn down. Dont worry, you have a toggle just under it that can disable this feature. To sum it up, these are the best earbuds of their type that I have found so far. Liked but even though they were a size bigger than normal they still run small. I tried them prior to giving them, to her to confirm that they work and that the sound would be good. In addition, I really like these because although the rubberized sole if firm it has an ever so slight amount of give to it providing a teeny bit of the memory foam experience. I sent the headset back.
