The first method is to use the remote and turn off and on the soundbar HDMI mode by pressing and holding one of the buttons for 5 seconds each time (forgot which button it is since Ive returned it, but its in the manual). A month ago the case slide off the nightstand. My speaker is black, light and waterproof. So easy to assemble, very sturdy and fits my shoes perfect. She cant really adjust the earbuds in her ears without activating the controls.
